What a full installation includes
Installation is more than screwing board to studs. Every job we hang is planned around board layout, fastener spacing, and joint placement so the finished wall stays flat and crack-free as the framing moves and settles.
- Layout and board takeoff so seams land away from door and window corners
- Hanging ceilings first, then walls, with staggered joints and minimal butt seams
- Correct fastener type and spacing for framing, and screws set below the paper without breaking it
- Taping with paper or mesh tape, then two to three coats of joint compound
- Sanding, dust cleanup, and a walkthrough under bright light before we call it done
